This means you can create meaningful notifications about your performance if it happens to change, and only regarding the things you care about. Google has used the example of:

“Let’s say you’re planning a Spring Sale campaign, and you want to stay on top of how conversion volume changes week-over-week. With this new feature, you can create a custom notification to alert you when weekly conversions increase by more than 10%.”

This new feature will make life easier for advertisers because if you’re having a busy day and forget to check your progress, at least your notifications will keep you updated on anything important! To turn the feature on:

  1. Go to the settings page in the app
  2. Opt into notifications
  3. Click custom notifications and set up your alerts and when you want to see them.

Performance insights have consistently been a hallmark of the original Google Ads desktop platform. Now, advertisers can conveniently access these insights on the mobile interface as well.
