79 Belfast Jobs Safe As Harland And Wolff Is Acquired For £6M

After nine-weeks of  stand off by workers of Harland and Wolff, the iconic Belfast shipyard we all know and love has been bought over, it has been announced this morning.

Acquired for an estimated £6m, all 79 jobs have successfully been saved.

John Wood, CEO of InfraStrata, said: “Harland and Wolff is a landmark asset and its reputation as one of the finest multi-purpose fabrication facilities in Europe is testament to its highly skilled team in Belfast.
